Don’t miss this chance to meet new people from different organizations as we share our common love of birds\, birding\, and our inclusive birding community. \nWild Birds Unlimited will be providing winter bird seed gifts to all participants. In Color Birding Club and Valley Forge Audubon Society will have extra binoculars to loan out and will jointly provide our experienced trip leaders. The permit for this group gathering in Valley Forge National Historical Park is provided through the Valley Forge Park Alliance. \nDuring our outing\, we will travel along wide dirt and gravel trails for up to 3 hours. SUMMARY:June Birding at Evansburg State Park
DESCRIPTION:Wednesdy\,  June 7\, 2023\n8 a.m. – 10 a.m. \nValley Forge Audubon Society\n\n\nEvansburg State Park\n851 Mayhall Rd\nCollegeville\, PA 19426 \n\n\nThis late spring outing will be focused on nesting birds. Birds will be singing on their territory\, building nests\, and feeding young. This 2 to 3 hour field trip will begin on a grass trail along the wooded edge and circle back on an earthen woodland trail. We will be meeting at Pavilion A on May Hall Rd\, which is on the right (across from Pavilion B) before the visitor center. Note that Pavilion A is not well-marked. \nNew birders are welcome at VFAS programs. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. This outing will be on trails that may be uneven and muddy\, so please wear sturdy waterproof shoes. Bring binoculars if you have them. The leaders will have an extra of binoculars to share. DESCRIPTION:The Chester County Parks system has seven wonderful parks which provide excellent birdwatching opportunities. Join us as we explore all seven of the parks\, one per month\, in 2023. \nOur 4th location is Hibernia County Park\, 1 Park Rd\, Coatesville\, PA 19320 \nWe will meander through the park’s various habitats searching land\, water\, and sky for passerines\, waterfowl\, raptors\, and more. No prior knowledge of birds or birding is necessary to attend. If you are a beginner\, join us! Children (accompanied by an adult) are always welcome\, too\, on our family-friendly field trips. \nBring binoculars if you have them.
