Three orcas in California

The Seattle Times provides this short but happy note today:

Puget Sound’s orcas took a family trip to California over the weekend.

More than 30 members of L pod, rarely seen so far south, were chasing salmon runs. The newest baby, above, is looking well, and the video is marvelous.
