BORDENTOWN CITY, NJ – Join the Bordentown City Environmental Commission (BCEC) to help rid one of the community’s parks of invasive species.
The BCEC will be hosting a Garden Work Day on Sunday, May 19 12PM to 2PM at Lime Kiln Alley Park to remove invasive plants from the park.
Invasive plants can degrade soil, which leads to erosion that can lower the quality of water, and can also crowd-out and kill important tree species that provide shade, carbon storage and habitats for native wildlife.
